Man this guy was cool. Just look at his style. Bruce Lee was the king of Golden Harvest cinema with such classic martial arts films as Enter the Dragon, buffalo sugar daddy First of Fury, and The Game of Death – where he fought a 7’2 Kareem Abdul Jabbar (who was Lee’s martial arts student in real life). Lee was born in San Francisco’s Chinatown to immigrant parents from Hong Kong. His mom was a Cantonese opera star.

Lee is credited for changing the face of cinema – for being the first major Asian actor to appear in starring movie roles that made it big in America. Continue reading
